I went to the future and found it was so,
That nobody knows where the world will go
I flew to the past and they did confirm,
They thought this whole planet would be more short-term
Came back to the present only to find,
That all the great thinkers had lost their great minds
So I traveled sideways to a place most unknown,
Where everyone spoke with a dark, weary tone
Saying their vows again and again,
“This world will end, yes this world will end”
Took the first flight out and crashed in a land,
With everyone’s head buried deep in the sand
“As far as we know, no one’s sick, no one dies,”
